Experienced Leadership for a Technical Public Office

I believe our government exists to serve the people.  

I am running for El Paso County Assessor as a servant leader dedicated to improving how our office serves our community.  

My full platform is on this site, but I really have very simple goals.

My single highest priority is to make property values easy to understand.  We will increase data accessibility with the fewest barriers.  Additionally, we will work to ensure all eligible Seniors and 100% Disabled Veterans receive the property tax exemptions they deserve.

     The elected Assessor manages the professional staff, systems, and processes responsible for the office’s technical work, coordinates with other government offices, and engages with the public. My professional experience, leadership roles, and decades of volunteer service have allowed me to develop the technical understanding, financial judgment, organizational leadership, and trusted community relationships needed to take on this role. Along the way, I am proud to have earned a reputation for integrity, fairness, and a genuine commitment to our community. 

 I am a Colorado native, and my family and I have called El Paso County home since 2000. Serving as County Assessor is a natural fit—bringing together my professional background, leadership experience, and long-standing commitment to serving the community I call home.
