Why am i running?
- El Paso County has a good Assessor’s office. I will increase the public's understanding of the Assessor's work and improve access to public information.
- I am a community volunteer, and have strong technical compliance, analytical, teaching and relationship building skills. Leading the Assessor’s office is a natural extension of my work serving our community.

The Platform
Modernization and Strengthened Relationships
The Assessor's office is primarily an administrative office. It does not set policy. Its role is to fairly value all property in El Paso County.
Modernization
- Adjust public facing communication to be easily understandable.
- Expand public access to data with the fewest barriers necessary.
- Improve tools for the public to validate they have received fair and equitable valuations of their property.
Strengthened Relationships
- Engage with the community outside of regular Assessor work.
- Provide educational opportunities to demystify the Assessor’s work - especially related to reappraisals and appeals.
